The Coronavirus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through aerosols/droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. Especially when those aerosols are in non-ventilated areas, they can create problems. You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose, or mouth. Cleaning and disinfection

Cleaning and disinfecting are two different processes:

  • Cleaning means physically removing germs, dirt and organic matter from surfaces.
  • Disinfecting means using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces. It’s important to clean before disinfecting because organic matter and dirt can reduce the ability of disinfectants to kill germs.

A combination of cleaning and disinfection will be most effective in removing the COVID-19 virus. Cleaning reduces the soil load on the surface, allowing the disinfectant to work and kill the COVID-19 virus. The disinfectant may not kill the virus if the surface has not been cleaned with a detergent first.

If it really was a no–brainer to make it on your own in business there’d be millions of no–brained, harebrained, and otherwise dubiously brained individuals quitting their day jobs and hanging out their own shingles. Nobody would be left to round out the workforce and execute the business plan. | Bill Rancic
