What household chores should be done weekly? This Family Chore Chart Sample can be a useful tool for you and your family!

These chore charts were designed to go along the existing system, and help us keep better track of the chores that we have our kids do on a daily basis: some that are expected and some that are paid. The chart is divided into three parts daily: 3-morning chores, 3-afternoon chores, and 3 paid chores. In our house, the morning and afternoon chores must be completed in order for the paid chores to receive compensation.

This Family Chore Chart Sample covers the most important topics that you are looking for and will help you to structure the weekly tasks that have to be done. You may allocate the activity, on what day, each member of the family (if old enough) will do what chore.

For example, the Oldest son puts dishes away on Monday, Mother on Tuesday, Father on Wednesday, Brother on Thursday, etc. Everyone should be responsible for their own rooms; if old enough, and if a room is shared – the responsibility is shared.

You can also sit down with a calendar for the weekly and monthly chores and assign them to family members. Keep the calendar where it is easily accessible or where it is easily visible.
