PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
COMPANY CITY, STATE 2008 PRESENT
Sr. Analytical Engineer
FEA analysis and method development for vehicle driveling systems including stress analysis, structural optimization,
failure, and fatigue analysis. Collaborate with customers, designers, and development engineers to arrive at mutually
beneficial goals on all projects. As Senior Engineer, worked in conjunction with the FEA group in India to ensure the
requirements for FEA simulations are met. Coordinated the analytical side of a weld life-study correlated with a tested
weld life. Developed new technical solutions to actual projects in order to save money and improve products.
Implemented FEA stamping simulations in the FEA group. Mentored Junior Engineers in the FEA group.
Accomplishments:
Saved several thousand dollars by testing through Fatigue simulations (FE-Safe).
Proved through FEA simulations and fatigue simulations a more lightweight solution for an axle that would save
tens of thousands of dollars in steel and fuel economy for a commercial truck project.
