These scholarships have been established to assist students majoring in programs offered by the College
of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS). Many professional organizations and business corporations
offer state and national scholarships to engineering and computer science students. Information about
scholarships and fellowships not listed in this book can be obtained from our website at
www.fullerton.edu/ecs, or from the Office of the Assistant Dean, CS-502.
Note: For all scholarships, the notification process does not include a notification to all applicants but
only to the selected recipient of the scholarship. The expected date of notification is by the end of May.
The Boeing Company Next Generation Scholarship
Amount: up to $5,000 per year
Established by: This scholarship was established and funded by The Boeing Company for academically
talented students majoring in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The program will provide scholarships for up to ten (10)
undergraduate students.
Open to: This scholarship is open to new or continuing full time engineering and computer science
majors who have achieved sophomore, junior or senior status. Seniors must be at least 3 semesters
from completing degree.
Criteria: 3.3 GPA Scholarship recipients are encouraged to apply to the summer internship program
and full-time employment at Boeing
Application Procedure: The online application opens January 26. To access the application, go to your
CSUF portal (be sure to use the new portal) and click on the “Scholarships” button. Follow the onscreen
instructions and be sure to answer in all the questions.
Application Deadline: March 3
ECS Academic Catalyst for Excellence (ACE) Scholarship
Amount: up to $4,000/year
Established by: ACE scholarship program, a comprehensive educational support system designed to
ensure student success, is established by College of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) and is
funded by National Science Foundation (NSF). The scholarship will serve as a catalyst that will allow
students to focus diligently on their academics. The program will award scholarships to ECS students and
leverage a well established network of ECS and University student services to support cohorts of ACE
scholars majoring in civil and environmental engineering, computer engineering, computer science,
