PROJECT DOMINICANA MISSION TEAM CALENDAR 2017!
Monday December 5: 7-8pm Informational Meeting for people who have never
been on the trip before in Student Center. Begin praying about your trip.
January 23 : Deposit and Registration Form Due. Both items must be in to
guarantee your spot. Make your checks out to LCPC. Put your name and Project
Dominicana in memo and give to youth director or drop off in church office for
Andy. Registration Form can be downloaded off church web site or found in LCPC
office. The trip could fill up before the deadline so, turn in deposit and registration
as soon as you can. $300 deposit due January 23. The balance $1070 is due May
22.
January-February : Develop a fundraising strategy. Get a passport. Make a list
of potential partners who might be able to help fund your trip. Call your doctor
and make appointments for immunizations.
February 4: 1-5pm: CHILI FUNDRAISER!!! PREPARATIONS IN LCPC
Kitchen. YOUTH ONLY for this event. We need all youth on the trip to
participate in this afternoon of preparations for our sale on Chili Sunday. Learn
more about your team and this year’s trip.
February 5 Super Bowl Sunday: 9:45am Selling Chili and assorted items to
congregation between services, LCPC Breezeway. YOUTH ONLY.
Sunday, March 12: 5:30-7pm Medical Team Meeting with Dr. Wetzel. Student
Center LCPC. All medical and pharmacy people should come. MEDICAL
TEAM ONLY.
Sunday, March 12: 7-9pm Conversations about Justice, Poverty, and
Compassion with Andy Wilson at Student Center LCPC. This meeting is
required for youth, but all team members are welcome. Let me know if you are not
coming. Great meeting for meeting team members.
Saturday, April 29 1-4pm: Project Dominicana Tea Fundraiser at the T
Room in Montrose. Team members should attend or help with silent auction
and the event.
