Carrum Downs Secondary College Scholarships 2017
Dear Parents & Guardians
Carrum Downs Secondary College is extremely proud of its academic results. In recent years we have
had students achieve ATAR scores in the top 5% of the state. Our extensive and award winning
pathways program supports our students in achieving entrance to their choice of university, TAFE and
apprenticeships. We are committed to be the school of choice for all young people of Carrum Downs
and Skye.
As a part of this commitment the college intends to support students who display particular talents
by offering scholarships to the value of $350 students who are highly motivated, talented and are
achieving academic excellence.
Expressions of Interests for the scholarships are required by Friday 3
rd
June 2016. All applications will
be reviewed, and shortlisted applicants will be notified of an interview time. Only students who are
accepted into CDSC in August will be considered.
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of this interview as well as the written application, reference
checks and information provided by the student’s primary school.
