IT Assessment Report: Open Sessions, March 14, 2016
With the release of the BerryDunn IT Assessment Report (
web.uri.edu/itreview
), the
IT Strategic Governance Committee and IT Review Steering Committee are hosting
peer-to-peer open sessions to take questions about the report. Members of each
representative from the Management and IT Consulting company, BerryDunn
(BerryDunn.com) will participate as well.
Each session is organized for specific groups of the University so the discussion
points can be focused on their areas, but anyone is welcomed at any of the sessions.
Sessions will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 in the Hardge Forum of the
Multicultural Student Services Center.
Faculty and staff of Academic Affairs (two sessions available):
• 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
• 3 – 4 p.m.
ITS staff and IT staff outside of ITS (all Divisions):
• 10:30 –11:30 a.m.
Staff of all Divisions:
• 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
The report represents collaboration between faculty, researchers, students,
administration and the team from BerryDunn. This report is now being used to begin
the development of a 5 year IT strategic plan for the University, the process of which
begins in late March. The first draft of the report will be presented to the University for
comment and edits in early May after teams of faculty, researchers, IT staff, students
and administrators complete the draft document.
