CSP Reflection Essay Outline/Prompt

Taking time to look back at the service you have done is one way to get a good understanding of the
experience. The following directions explain how to complete the final phase of the Christian Service
Program, the Reflection component.
In italics is a bible passage that can be related to the Christian Service Program at Mater Dei High
School. When reading this scripture, please attempt to interpret the words when responding to
Essay Question # 3 on a very personal level.
Let love be sincere; hate what is evil, hold onto what is good; love one another with mutual affection;
anticipate one another in showing honor.
Do not grow slack in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, and persevere in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the holy
ones, exercise hospitality. (Romans 12:9-13)
