Commit to participate 2 semesters (Fall 2016 & Spring 2017) 10 or 15 hrs per week.
Attend mandatory S4S Mentor Orientation and ongoing trainings.
Participate in all program activities & end of the year celebration.
Meet with mentees regularly as required by program assignments.
Maintain good standing (falling under 2.5 GPA will disqualify student).
Develop or update an educational plan with a counselor.
Use of appropriate SAC resources and services.

Current SAC or transferring student.
At least 12 units completed.
Minimum 2.5 GPA.
Enrolled in at least 6 units during Fall 2016/Spring 2017.
Satisfactory recommendation (included in application).
Knowledge of campus resources and campus life.
Familiar with financial aid process.
AB540 students are welcome to apply.
Turn in your application at the Assessment Center in L-223. If accepted into the program,
participants are expected to attend a mandatory orientation on Thursday August 4th, 2016
from 9:00am to 1:00pm or Thursday August 11th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm to learn about
program requirements and expectations.

The Santa Ana College Students 4 Students (S4S) Peer Mentor Program provides campus
wide services aimed to increase the engagement, connectedness, and retention of
students at SAC through the support of Peer Mentors. S4S Peer Mentors will serve as role
models to SAC students, help them access programs and resources, as well as assist them with
their transition in navigating the college setting.

Mentors are eligible to receive a stipend at the end of the each semester.
