Reading the Chord Charts
The numbers marked at each position refer to the fingers that should be used to press the corresponding frets: q index, w middle, e ring, r little.
Normally the leftmost fret in a chord diagram will be fret 1. When the leftmost fret is marked with a number, however, that will be the number of the leftmost fret.
When the “barre” symbol appears, use the index finger to press all indicated fret buttons at once.
The important thing is not being afraid to take a chance. Remember, the greatest failure is to not try. Once you find something you love to do, be the best at doing it. | Debbi Fields
