service to your friends, members and/or other electronic databases. We want to do all we can
to ensure that residents are informed and participating in recycling in Columbus!

Hello,
Residents asked for it and now Columbus is making residential recycling convenient at no additional cost!
Called, “RecyColumbus,” the new service is being rolled out to all residents living in a single-family home or in
building with four attached units or less that is not part of a complex. The service will rollout in five phases
starting this spring and ending early 2013. Eligible households will receive a new blue recycling cart. Recycling
collection service will alternate with yard waste collection every other week.
Recycling preserves the environment, keeps recyclables out of the landfill, saves money on landfill fees and
creates and retains jobs.
Please help us by spreading the word and using the new blue cart to recycle more and trash less. Visit
www.RecycleColumbus.org to learn more about collection days, cart delivery or recyclable materials.
