Letter of Commitment on
Centralized Quarantine and Observation
Shanghai has launched the level 1 response procedures for major public health
emergencies and taken the most stringent prevention and control measures. In order to
facilitate the city's prevention and control efforts against the spread of the novel
coronavirus pneumonia, I solemnly make the following commitments:
1. To strictly abide by the rules of centralized quarantine and observation, and not
to go out without permission or meet visitors during the centralized quarantine and
observation period;
2. To actively cooperate with medical workers to carry out centralized quarantine
and observation by taking body temperature checks and reporting health conditions
truthfully;
3. To keep a distance from those under quarantine as required to avoid cross
infection during the centralized quarantine and observation period;
4. Not to disseminate relevant information without authorization and not to make
untrue comments on other people under quarantine.
I will be legally liable for any failure to honor the above commitments in
accordance with the PRC Law on Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases.
