Assistant Director for Reference and Research Services: In addition to duties assumed as Reference Services
Coordinator, responsible for overall supervision of reference services to the law school community.
Participates in developing library policy regarding reference services. Supervise administration of Legal
Research course for legal research faculty. Coordinated restructure of year long Legal Research course into
one semester course among Legal Research faculty. Primarily responsible for drafting materials for
substantial portion of curriculum covering the U.S. and New York legal systems, secondary sources, cost
effective legal research and the legal research process.

Research course to first year law students. Coordinated scheduling of training sessions and provided
instructional training for new Faculty Research Assistants. With the Faculty Services Librarian, supervised
and coordinated the fulfillment of faculty research requests among reference librarians and Library Research
Assistants. Coordinated and managed Library Research Assistants supporting Library research projects.
Coordinated reference desk schedule and fulfillment of complicated reference requests to faculty. Continued
to provide group and individual instruction in specialized legal research topics.

Reference / International Law Librarian: Taught Legal Research course to first year law students. Served as
expert in international and foreign law research for the Library. Searched newly published materials and made
recommendations for selection for the core collection and the shared research collection among three New
York City Law Schools in the Joint International Legal Program (JILP). Provided group and individual
instruction in specialized legal research topics to clinics and upper level courses such as federal and New
York state administrative law, international law, mediation and health law. With the Faculty Services
Librarian, managed law students serving as Library Research Assistants in processing faculty research
requests. Tenure granted in 2007.

Reference / Government Documents Librarian: Taught Legal Research course to first year law students.
Supervised library government depository program. Provided reference services to members of the law school
community and the general public through print, electronic, and online resources. Provided bibliographic
instruction and electronic resources training to Law School faculty and students. Developed research guides
and subject specific bibliographies for use in law school clinics and other law school courses. Answered legal
research questions from faculty, students, and the public from the reference desk.
