We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Fashion Editor to join the MR PORTER Styling
team. With a sophisticated eye for editorial product selection you will work on shoots
(including video and still-life) to update the weekly journal and ensure that the product selection
complies with the MR PORTER aesthetic and is commercially viable. You will be tasked with
creating and implementing ideas for creative projects, working as part of the larger Editorial
team to ensure that MR PORTER continues to achieve high-end editorial content.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Style Director, you will be responsible for the following:
• Develop the quality and style of editorial styling content.
• Develop editorial shoots (working with the Editor and Style Director) by coming up
with innovative concepts and ideas.
• Edit and style product for editorial stories, still-lifes and shoots.
• Ensure product selection is both editorially and commercially viable for all of the MR
PORTER site as well as marketing materials as directed.
• Develop multi-layered, original and strong content ideas at the beginning of each
season and continuously throughout season
• Working closely with the Product Merchandiser, the Buyers and the retail team to have
an understanding of weekly sales reports to aid the formulation of ideas and ensure that
all content is both commercially and editorially viable.
• Team up with Writers to ensure that written and visual content of stories are
consistent, compatible and accurate.
• Work with the Fashion Writers to provide direction for ‘style tips’ and other styling-
related copy.
• Check on a weekly basis that all links and editorial click throughs are working before the
journal goes live.
• Check all products when they are live and monitor any required changes.

• Strong previous experience in directing and styling still-life shoots and model shoots.
• Proven ability to identify and source external contributors for shoots.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of the menswear luxury fashion industry
• A good knowledge of MR PORTER brands and trends that are happening each season.
• Flair and individuality combined with awareness of MR PORTER style.
• Able to work well within a team.
• An ability to meticulously check skus/copy for errors.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong fashion and styling sense.
