Decorate your school for the Holidays. Hang your printed holiday posters and flyers around the school.

Mail Postcards to students and parents this week- or just distribute them in class! Encourage students to
take extra postcards to invite a friend.

Send a Save the Date Email to your email contact list. Use the images provided to insert into your email and
don't forget to include your contact information, address, event date and time. (If you are having a canned
food or toy drive, mention that in the email!)

Create Your Facebook Event Page. Log on to your schools Facebook page and click “Events” and then
“Create”. This is a great tool to give last minute updates and constantly remind parents about your event.
Download the Facebook Event Images and Post Images in the Holiday Retail Kit to use on your event page.

Post flyers about your Holiday Shopping Event at key locations throughout your community. Ask businesses
and neighbors about leaving some flyers or postcards on their counter to promote your event.
