STUDENT RECOGNITION AWARD
The IPSA Recognition Award was
created in 1997 from funds donated
by the Independent Corn Breeders’
Association
. Donations to increase
this fund are welcome.
The IPSA board, at its discretion, will
make periodic awards to a student or
students entering
their junior or senior
year or graduate students who are
studying in the field of agriculture.
Financial need is not a selection
criteria. Preference will be given to
children of IPSA members,
associates, and to children of
employees of IPSA members.
The IPSA board intends to make
scholarship awards of up to $700 to
students. The size and number of
awards may vary each year,
depending upon fund earnings.
Award winners will be announced in
July of each year. Recipients will also
be invited to attend IPSA’s Annual
Conference in January if the student’s
schedule permits.

• Student’s statement of personal and professional goals and objectives
• Work experience for the last 2 years
• Recommendation from the nominator along with any relationship to IPSA member or
Associate member company
