Whats Coming Up...
May Newsletter
During the month of May, preschool
will be focusing on seeds, plants and
owers. Our friends will be planting
seeds in their own terrariums and
observing how they grow.
We have some great celebrations this
month, including Cinco de Mayo.
One of our most exciting events of the year is
our Mothers Day Tea and this year we will cel-
ebrate by having a Mommy and Me Yoga.
e second half of the month will focus on
insects and emotions through an author study
on Eric Carle. His beloved books will bring much knowledge to
our preschoolers. We will also be rounding out our color days
with Purple Day.

Did You Know?
• Many of the fruits, vegetables, and
other edible plant parts in supermarkets
sprout from stems and stalks. However,
seeds and roots can be food sources by
themselves.
• Seed foods include sunower seeds,
beans (which actually are so, protein-
rich seeds), and cereal.
Did you know we are now on Facebook? Were excited to have
another avenue of communication with our Alphabet family.
