____ Meet with Ken Stanczyk, Director of Adult Ministry, to schedule the wedding date and begin the wedding
planning process (ext. 104).
____ Await a call from a married couple of the parish to schedule discussions using the FOCCUS inventory.
____ Schedule the Archdiocesan Engaged Enrichment Program at your earliest convenience at:
http://www.johnpaul2center.org/Nazareth-Project/Engaged-Enrichment.htm
____ Obtain recent copies of your Baptismal certificates dated within 6 months of your wedding date.
____ Choose the scripture readings for your wedding liturgy.
____ Contact Randy Hilgers, Director of Liturgy and Music, to plan your wedding music (ext. 106).
____ Finalize scripture readers and other liturgical ministers for your wedding liturgy.
____ Create and print your orders of worship (wedding programs).
____ Obtain your marriage license thirty (30) to eight (8) days before your wedding.
____ Distribute copies of the information from our website (www.stjosephgrafton.org) to your florist,
photographer, and ushers (Appendix A, B and C on our website).
____ Ensure that everyone will be at your rehearsal on time. Bring the items listed below:
o Copies of your wedding program (orders of worship)
o Your marriage license
o Any fees for musicians not already given to the Director of Liturgy and Music
o Your General Intercessions (if you have chosen to write your own)
o Your unity candle (if you have chosen to use one)
