Work Schedule

When you design a work schedule, it's good to look at the local market standards. The most common known work schedule is the 9 to 5 schedule. This is considered the typical work week for most people. They start at 9 in the morning (though some may come in a bit earlier or later on some days) and they generally leave around 5 p.m. An employee's work schedule includes the days and times that an employee is scheduled to be on the job. Depending on the company or job title, an employee's work schedule may be a traditional, 40-hour-per-week, Monday-through-Friday schedule, or it could vary on a daily, weekly, or seasonal basis.
