How to draw comic strips?
Comic strips are no different from writing short stories. It still needs a beginning, a middle and an end. Since this is a three-part comic strip, divide your story into three parts. Write down your thoughts on characters, scenes, expressions, and even language. Make sure each part has some action and your ending is strong and has good punch lines.
One of the hardest parts of creating a comic strip is drawing your characters. We recommend that you use simple shapes to draw your character. Since this is your first comic, you might even want to use stick figures to keep things simple.
Also draw the speech bubbles and any starburst sound effects. Oh, and don't forget, use a pencil to erase any mistakes at this point. As a beginner in manga making, try not to worry too much about your drawing skills. Now, even a simple stick figure is enough - in fact, there are many famous cartoons on the internet that are drawn entirely in stick figures!
