What is persuasive speech and example?
An argumentative speech is one in which the speaker tries to convince the audience to accept his or her viewpoint. It is organized in such a way that the audience should be able to accept all or part of the views expressed.
Sales pitches are examples of persuasive speeches. When a speaker makes a sales pitch, he or she tries to persuade the audience to purchase a product or service. Successful salespeople will convince the audience (those who are being sold to) to buy what they are selling.
In most persuasive speeches, the goal is to convince the audience of a viewpoint, but not all audiences can be persuaded by one speech.
