List of domains that we blocked due to unwanted image hotlinking

Since that allbusinesstemplates has become one of the Top 100,000 websites in the world, we noticed that our competitors or people that want to leverage our content for Adsense revenue, have copied our images into huge directory listing websites.

The website images get listed in so called directories websites but not 1 or 2. the website allbusinesstemplates.com already got listed on more then 8,000 unique domains. Indeed WTF?

Actions so far:

• Prevent image hot linking: allowed domains get the image while blocked domains get a 307 response. Unidentified domains that are not white listed get a different image then they expect.
• Blocked domain we list daily and add to the disavow list. This list we upload to Google Webmaster.
• We have send emails to some domains already to stop the image hot linking due to copyright infringement. Result: No response.

The problem: We have days that the website is being backlinked by 50 new domains and it really hurts the SEO / Ranking. It’s an organized action but we can’t identify who is doing it and why.
