How do I write an excuse note for school? What is an excuse note?
When you want to sent an Excuse Note, for example to your school due to absence, you basically are expected to write a short note that is submitted in order to explain the need for your, or your childs' absence at, or simply justify a person's absence.

Regardless of the reason why you are applying for leave, it is very important to approach the leave request properly, in order to create a minimal reaction and maintain your good standing at school (or office). Requesting and obtaining a leave of absence when you work in a casual environment can be as simple as saying to your principal, teacher or boss, "I need a short leave of absence. Would it be possible to take this leave from my work for the period of one month in the next three months?" In a more formal school setting, you may need to structure your request according to the applicable leave policy.
